Beechcraft Denali

Valuation

Two Beechcraft Denali have been produced so far and they are being tested. The Beechcraft Denali will now be available in 2024 due to setbacks in designing General Electric’s Catalyst Engine.

The aircraft base price in 2022 was $6,000,000 and the price is predicted to see an increase to $6.3 million in 2024.

Risk Areas

Beechcraft Denali is still in the testing stage and is to be released in 2024. The hardest flight operations to insure will be pilots over 72 years old and less experienced pilots that are transitioning from a smaller aircraft like a Cirrus SR22.

Insurance rates will start around 0.7% of the hull value for very well-qualified single pilot operations.

Claim History

The first Denali aircraft smoothly finished its maiden flight in November 2021. The second Beechcraft Denali’s first flight was also completed successfully too. Its engine worked and performed greatly in the 2 hours, 50 minutes which it was tested.

Safety Features

Beechcraft Denali is an entirely new design and it has the largest cabin in its class. It is also the first aircraft powered by General Electric’s Catalyst Engine which maximizes fuel use and burns cleaner.

The Beechcraft Denali features the latest Garmin G3000 avionics suite with an autothrottle system that interfaces readily with the automatic flight control and management systems. This makes speed control easy from take-off to landing.

There’s a 10-inch weather radar, advanced terrain awareness warning systems and dual transponders with automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast capabilities.
