Valuation
The current price range of the King Air 360 is $7,500,000 to $8,820,000, and $8,900,000 to $10,000,000 for the King Air 360ER. The price can vary depending on the customizations done to the aircraft. The King Air 350ER hasn’t been produced by Textron yet. Plans are for 2024+.
Textron began production of the Beechcraft King Air 360 in 2020, with the first aircraft being delivered in November 2020. The King Air 360 is still in production today. A total of 80 aircraft have been produced, and 72 are in operation.
Risk Areas
Risk areas for insurance companies involve King Air 360 flown by less experienced single pilot operations. Pilots over 75 years are also risky operations, according to underwriters.
Typically, underwriters will expect a pilot to have completed an inflight training or a full-motion simulator-based training within the preceding 12 months. Underwriters prefer full motion simulator training from Simcom, CAE SimuFlite, or FlightSafety.
Insurance rates start at 0.7% of the hull value for a single pilot and 0.3% for dual pilots when both pilots are 12-month simulator current in make and model.
Claim History

Safety Features
King Air 360/360ER model has the best cockpit safety features compared to King Air 300. It has been upgraded to deliver better protection with top design and fusion avionics.
The cockpit features the Innovative Solutions & Support (IS&S) ThrustSense Autothrottle that controls engine power and airspeed from take-off to landing. There’s a Digital Pressurization Indication integrated with the Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion flight deck.
Other traits include the synthetic vision system, Engine Indicating and Crew Alerting System (EICAS), Multi-Scan Weather Radar System and Dual Flight Management System.
The integrated Terrain Awareness and Warning System, the Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance and the Automatic Flight Guidance System help to prevent accidents. The greatest safety feature is the pilot’s experience and training.
