Aircraft Summary

In spite of its moniker, the Conquest II was actually produced before the Conquest I and was larger, faster and had a longer range. To improve its power output at higher altitudes and increase airspeed by 25-30 knots, the Super 8 and Dash 10 engine conversions replace the hot section with an improved -10 type. This also reduces the cost of the hot section by 30-50% and fuel nozzle maintenance by 75%. Cessna Aircraft Company has set an unconditional life limit of 22,500 flying hours for the Conquest II.

Valuation

The market value of a Conquest II 441 is $796,000 – $2,010,000. The price range varies largely on engine TBOs, paint, interior, avionics, and a clean accident and incident history along with accurate maintenance logs. The Cessna Conquest II was built between 1978 – 1986.

There were a total of 363 built. Of that, there are 265 still in operation, as of February 2023. For insurance purposes, most of the Conquest 441 aircraft are flown by owner pilots for Pleasure & Business operations.

Risk Areas

The hardest 441 Conquest II to insure or ones with the highest rates are with pilots over 75 years old or pilots that are transitioning from smaller aircraft with very little multi engine experience.

Safety Features

The Cessna 441 Conquest II I is a reliable aircraft that has been proven time and time again. The biggest safety feature is the twin turboprop engines and the fact that it has been in operation for so long there’s a lot of pilots and mechanics that are very familiar with the aircraft.

Insurance rates start around 1% of the hull value and move up with less experienced pilots or riskier operations.
